The surgery starts with numbing the eye:
- Numbing drops are applied (no injections)
- Your eye is gently held open
- You remain awake but feel

The surgery starts with numbing the eye:

Then, using a highly precise laser, the surgeon creates a thin pocket within the cornea, often with femtosecond laser - this is where the implant will sit.
